Two-day event: RAEng CESAER Joint online conference on key technologies shaping the future, July 1-2.

We are pleased to remind you that on 1.-2. July, the Royal Academy of Engineering and CESAER, the united voice of universities of science and technology in Europe, will host a joint online conference bringing together policy-makers and researchers from the UK and Europe. The conference will explore trends in key technologies over the next 30 years, and their implications on the education and formation of the next generation of engineers.

The event will consider these four themes:

  • Healthy society - augmentation for health and wellness
  • Safe, secure and equitable society
  • Net zero world
  • Learning and teaching 

This two-day event will be chaired by Professor Max Lu FREng, President and Vice-Chancellor, University of Surrey; Chair of CESAER Key Technologies Task Force and Professor Rik van de Walle, Rector of Ghent University and President of CESAER.
